“This place is HUGE. I love it. The decor and layout reminds me of some backwoods grocery store on steriods. Awesome selections for everything you want and stuff you didn’t even know you wanted! Prices are fair and the quality to me is exceptionally good! And the products are not like the bulk products you get at a place you need a membership for.

The liquor department has some really good deals and a LOT of selections! I’d rahter go here than Binny’s sometimes. (Especially for beer)

Overall I always enjoy the experience, and believe me the first time you is really and EXPERIENCE, and gladly frequent Woodman’s as often as I can afford to go and drop the amount of money I normally do there on all the stuff I get!”

“I have been shopping at Woodman’s for the last two years and I love it, i am sad to be moving out of the area and will actually miss shopping here. They have a huge fruit and vegetable area and huge international section. Thank you so much and it you want to expand, try Brighton Michigan!”

“I truly can say that I enjoy shopping at this store. I have been shopping Woodman’s for over 20 years between the Wisconsin and Illinois stores…I stand by my rating of five stars for the overall experience at Woodman’s; it’s an awesome store with a lot of great friendly employees…”

“…You need to set aside at least two hours if you plan to shop here, but like a thrift store, the thrill is in the hunt. Both of the Woodman’s are a 20 – 30 minute drive also, so it’s worth it to do a MAJOR grocery shop when you get there- and make a list. Seriously, otherwise you can go WAY overboard… I know this from experience. Note: They only take cash or debit.

If you are a thrifty, knowledgeable shopper, you can get $125 worth of groceries here compared to say your average PicknSave where you’d spend $200 for the same amount. Yes, Whole Foods is probably the best grocery store, but this store is great for people like me who would rather have more leisure in their lives, (work less, play more) and simultaneously live on a budget.

The liquor store is huge and the regular prices on the majority of items is comparable to when other stores have those items on sale. I’ve gone enough now and know which staples to buy each time, all are at about 75% of the cost if I had gone anywhere else. I prefer to buy organic produce, (which they do have) but I make some exceptions, for example, @ $.69 per avocado, I buy like 10 of them. I’ve even cut back on buying my dog her pebbles because it is cheaper to buy real chicken and make her home made dog food and freeze portions. I also love how the different ethnic sections are huge and you can get almost anything that you would if you had gone to a specialty ethnic store.”
